Notification Framework Example

This process uses an Alteryx app to integrate with the Tableau API to validate email addresses along with a series of well designed tables to house rules, users, groups, distribution lists and logs. The framework can be used multiple ways but most commonly used by Alteryx Artisans to setup distribution lists that can be changed in one location and easily integrated into thier Workflows via a macro that is customizable to email a generic message to a list of emails or use salutations for a more personal notification.
